Leading Loudoun Into The 21st Century
Mike has over 30 years experience in law enforcement in this country and around the world. He served seven of those years with a local area police department in the Patrol, SWAT, and Criminal Investigative divisions; and 23 years as a Special Agent with the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Mike knows, first hand, the impact gangs and drugs have on crime and families.
As a senior leader, Mike was in charge of DEA's entire Far East operations, an area covering four time zones. He directed multi-million dollar budgets, restructured offices, and saved tax payers over $3 million.
Mike understands Loudoun's changing environment and its unique demographics and vulnerabilities. He will protect our families, keep our schools safe and our county secure.
Mike is taking the initiative to help Loudoun County prepare for the future of public safety, not only in preventing traditional crime, but increasingly complex crimes, internet child exploitation, senior citizen identity theft, financial crime, human and sex trafficking, and community drug dealing.
